General Information

The Committee of One Hundred is a nonpolitical, nonprofit membership group organized as an educational, civic and charitable organization whose members are the highest-ranking local executives of businesses and professional enterprises in Northwest Louisiana. The Committee works to mobilize the business community to improve Shreveport, Bossier City and the surrounding areas maintaining active interests in regional economic development, education and community relations.

The business makeup of the Committee ranges from large national employers to single owner businesses. Currently, composed of 201 members, the Committee of One Hundred has 125 active, voting members in addition to advisory members who have served as active members for 10 years or more, military liaisons who are commanding officers of military facilities in NW Louisiana and at-large members who, while not eligible for active membership, are recognized for a one year term for their significant community leadership.
